Volunteers Build Campus in Malawi
In August a group of volunteers arrived in Blantyre, Malawi to build a new school campus for the Soche Hill Seventh-day Adventist Secondary School. The new campus will allow the secondary school to leave overcrowded buildings that are currently shared with an elementary school.
The school construction effort caught the attention of the entire city. The volunteers were featured on local newscasts and local businesses pitched in to provide discounted services to the volunteers. Classes will begin in the school campus in January, 2012. |
