Mozambique, Brazil, and India
Mozambique Churches Now Complete Maranatha has completed its One-Day Church effort in Mozambique. A total of 657 One-Day Churches were constructed throughout the country. Over 5,000 people have been baptized so far from the new churches.
Pastor Girimoio Muchanga, President of the Mozambique Union says, “There are no words to describe the wonderful job that Maranatha did for our union. I am sure we cannot see all the results of this work here in the earth but I really believe that in Heaven we will see all the results of this wonderful work in Mozambique.”
India The One-Day School is being used in a big way in India at the Fjarli Adventist School near Ongole. Two large dormitories are being constructed as well as a large classroom block. These buildings will complement existing structures already built on campus. Volunteers recently returned from a project at the school, where they helped erect some of the buildings.
Brazil Construction about to Start
Two containers holding 74 churches have just been released from customs in Brazil, where construction will start immediately on churches in the area surrounding Recife, Brazil. Maranatha is partnering with the Northeast Brazil Union to provide new churches for recently started congregations in previously un-entered cities.
